General Rules
Keep your problems private. If you have problems with another player, contact a member of staff or settle it maturely between yourselves.
IC and OOC are two different things. They should be treated as such!
We understand people have busy schedules, but if your life is getting hectic, please let us know.
Swearing can be used in character and out, but don't go crazy with f-bombs and such. And under no circumstances should you curse at other players; it will NOT be tolerated at all.
In your signature, try to include all of your current characters. It makes for quick and easy access for others. Just their name, age and gender will do. Any space after that is yours to do what you wish with, but try not to make them excessively large. PM an admin your signature code, and they will provide you with the word you'll put in your signature. (To get around the character limit.)
We will have a three-strikes rule. You get two warnings, and if you continue to break rules or upset other players, then you get banned.
In Character Rules
No god-moding or power play.
We have liquid time. Your character can be in up to 3 threads at once.
There is a limit of 20 characters. Please do not make characters if you don't think you'll be able to keep up with them.
The minimum sentence requirement for each post is 15. No exceptions.
Groups will be allowed, be they herds, packs, clans or prides. They can be stationed anywhere, or they can be a nomad group going from place to place. It's up to the person who starts the group to decide if it will be characters working together as one or simply a loose gathering of friends aiding each other as needed. Ranks are also allowed.
Breeding Rules
You can breed your characters anytime, but before then you must have them meet twice. (Rules do not apply for force-breedings.) The amount of young is limited to the species: Mammoths rarely have more than one calf at a time, but most creatures have litters or clutches of many young. Ice Age creatures (besides mammoths) are limited to a maximum of four young. For dinosaurs, many eggs may be laid, but the amount of hatched baby dinos remains the same: four.
Fodder characters are allowed to be hatched- babies that will not make it to adulthood, killed by disease, starvation, or other predators. Characters may not breed until the reach maturity. This too varies among characters; consult the guide to see when your character may begin to breed.
